Greetings, Dear Friends!
Though a week later, I am still brimming with the joy you brought to our party on the 31st. How lucky I am to have such wonderful people to share my life with! And that’s what this note is all about – to thank you, and You, and YOU, for not only joining us in our festivities, but also making it an unforgettable experience. These are some things I will never forget:
The scrumptious food you brought: doesn’t everything taste better when you share it?
The smiles you carried, sweet and full of positive energy: a smile is the lighting system of your face and the heating system of your heart.
The sea of red that filled our living room: the gorgeous lanterns and our festive outfits created a fashion show of Chinese good luck!
The dancing: it was like having our own “Dancing with the Stars” right here in Plano.
Our songs: the heartwarming ring of your voices are still echoing in my mind.
Our golden range of ages: the oldest and smartest lady of all – Ma Ma Wu!
And those red footies: how funny, creative and young we looked, slipping and sliding around in our one-size-fits-all slippers of happiness!
I want to let you know how much I appreciate your friendships, treasures I know have inspired each member of our circle. The calendar from Beijing as well as the red envelope are meant to be symbols of luck and prosperity; I am hoping they will be the start of many good things in your new year!
Always,
Milly
P.S. – I am putting together a quick slideshow of our good times, and need as many pictures as possible! PLEASE send them to: [email protected]. Thank you!
