Part of taking care of yourself includes being up to date on all the new trends, whether you use them or not. It's more about the exercise of your mind and the opening of your interests, than it is about the actual trends. Either way, check out CNN's 10 Web Trends to Watch in 2010! The list is compiled by Pete Cashmore, CEO of Mashable, the leading website on social media.

Project Rebirth - After the tragedy of September 11th, Jim Whitaker quit his Hollywood job as President of Imagine Entertainment to start Project Rebirth, a non-profit focused on chronicling the strength of the human spirit coping with disaster and grief. The pièce de résistance is a feature-length documentary that shows time-lapse film of the building of Ground Zero over the past eight years, as well as annual interviews of victims or family of victims. It is truly an inspiring venture. Check it out!

Andrew Pearson (left picture) was diagnosed with Crohn's and Colitis during his early teens. Both diseases are chronic (ongoing) disorders that cause inflammation of the digestive or gastrointestinal (GI) tract. I was extremely touched when I heard his story and passed it onto my husband, Gene, who also has Colitis. After the two generations met, Andrew has committed himself to running a half marathon (13.1 miles) in honor of Gene.

Please support Andrew by clicking here and donating what you can. His goal is to reach $4,000 by the end of September. Over 80 percent will go to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. The rest will go to supporting his run.
